Now I just have to edit all 18 chapters and do about 33 spot illustrations. And then find an agent. And then get it published. But it's out of my head and onto the page!
Thank you! It's just a start, but pleeeease, let something come of this. Back in my altruistic, believing-myself-to-be-psychic youth, I very firmly saw myself at about age 50, writing for a living at a small computer next to a second-story window that was pointed at the top, overlooking a yard next to trees. Pacific Northwest? Maine? We didn't even have small computers back then, so I'm still holding out hope for this to blossom into fruition.
