I'm on to something. Maybe.

You know what Hawaii does not have? Awesome comics about local superheroes! What we need are a trio of crime-fighting girls. With powers. But not good powers. Like, spectacularly crap powers. And together, they harness their terrible newfound abilities to battle the dark forces of whistling dogs, menehunes, snarky shark men, and disappearing owls.
SOMEONE SIGN ME ON, I'm already drawing this thing.

Oh, and I'm back from vacation. THANK GOODNESS. There is so much body fluid involved in stay-at-home-ness. And people hanging around your knees. And everything being spilled, all the time, everywhere. Basically it is non-stop shuffling between the washing machine and the refrigerator.

Bless you, sturdy work desk. Bless all the little post-its and the pile of backlogged reports I have to file and the umpty-billion urgent emails about things that haven't even happened. "URGENT REMINDER - the deadline is next week and you haven't sent your forms in!" WELL NO SHIT. Wait - I mean, BLESS YOU.

Happy to be back.

  2. Yes! I'm 2 pages into the origin story! Instead of drawing on sacred legends, I'll be working from gossip, urban legend, ghost sightings, and multi-cultural cryptozoology. ANYTHING could hide on a barge from the Philippines and Micronesia, you know.
