Maui fires

Okay, so evidently Maui was in the process of burning down while I was making crumpets and writing down blog recipes, and nobody knew how bad it was until this morning. As of right now Lahaina Public Library is unaccounted for, the entire historic town appears to have burned down. The sky is hazy on Oahu, but the winds that whipped up the fires don't seem to be hitting us.
