That's it, really.

Until the basement studio renovation gets underway*, I had to do something about the painting mess taking over the dining room**. The discount home store had a new shipment of wheelie craft carts, and I hauled one into the house like I had had bagged an elk for dinner. I put everything in mason jars, loaded the thing up with paints, got the table cloth back on the table, and walked around taking trophy pictures of it.

So professional
That'll keep me going while we haul crap out of the basement and spill concrete sealer everywhere.
*note from the future - it is underway. Larry the Mason, who built our house 60 years ago, was a cool guy with really terrible grandkids, and most of the basement renovation has been UNDOING their lazy and inept attempts at renovation. Why were the walls painted with crumbling water-soluble green paint that wipes off with a damp rag? We don't know. Why were there patches of bare sheetrock nailed at unpredictable intervals around the windows and ceiling? It is a mystery. Why did they tar cheap linoleum tiles to a lone 2-foot patch in one corner? They were the worst, that is why.
Studio renovation pictures forthcoming. We are dumping candy-coating sealant all over the floor tonight and hoping no cats, chickens, lizards, or cockroaches fall in it and get stuck.
** I have trashed the dining room table again anyway. Sorry, self from 2 weeks ago. You were so young and idealistic.
